The Religious Education program at Christ Child Catholic Church is comprised of volunteer parents filling the roles of teachers, pianist, choral director and administrator.
The academic year starts in September and runs until May – we follow the Loma Prieta School District calendar for vacation and statutory holidays.
Religious instruction for grades 1 through 8 is on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am for 1 hour. Confirmation Preparation Classes are held on Saturdays.
Preparation for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion is a major component of our program. Our First Holy Communion class is comprised of 2nd grade children and older.
To arrange baptism of your child in preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, please contact Fr. Eugenio.
For Confirmation Preparation Class information (High School level) please contact Marie Yurosko at 354-4407.
On the last Sunday of the month, Fr. Eugenio presides over "The Children’s Mass". At this mass, the children do the readings and sing with the choir. They have choral practice on other Sundays as part of the program.
